Appointment booking
The process for making an Appointment Booking is different for new patients and returning patients. Please ensure you follow the appropriate process.
Dr Renaut is happy to undertake in person consultations, or TeleHealth consultations (where appropriate). Be sure to communicate to our admin staff when making an appointment if TeleHealth is preferred.
All patients should ensure their medical history is up-to-date.
A referral from your GP is desirable but not essential. Please be advised you will not be eligible for a Medicare rebate if you do not have one.
Appointment cancellation
If you are late, or otherwise unable to attend your set appointment time, please advise us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you do not advise us with sufficient notice a $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged at rebooking.
Preparation for your consultation
There are no specific physical preparations required.
What to bring to your consultation
- Medicare and Private Health Insurance documentation (Medicare Card, Insurance Card etc).
- A valid Referral letter from your GP or referring specialist (or ensure that a referral has been sent to us directly) is desirable but not essential.
- All x-rays, scans, pathology or test results relating to your problem.
